The IXDC is also attending the Lahore Bloggers Meetup event on Sunday, November 23, 2008. I will be there with my laptop to bring you live blog coverage of the event. Over one hundred registrations have been completed for the event so it promises to be the first and biggest convergence of our opinionated friends in Lahore. The event starts at 3:00PM.

Google in collaboration with CIO Pakistan is organizing a meetup for Lahore bloggers on Sunday, November 23, 2008, at LUMS. This promises to be an interesting event that will provide people with an opportunity to learn about the secrets of successful blogging and some first-hand accounts of how some bloggers are actually making a living from it. Plus, it will be an excellent opportunity to network and socialize too.

Mr. Lalit Katragadda of Google Mapmaker is now live on video conference call from Bangalore, India and his talk is being broadcasted to UMT campus in Lahore, Pakistan. He just showed how local Internet users from Lahore & Islamabad added map content to Google MapMaker [ http://mapmaker.google.com/ ] quickly and with minimum spam giving the content a high quality. Will keep posting…

He’ll speak about transportation & usability with Google MapMaker [ http://mapmaker.google.com/ ].
